Bunny Barricade started as a low cost and easy solution for protecting plants. Yes, the plant protector is made from chicken wire and yes, it is so simple you should have thought of it.

 I am a Landscape Designer, but first and foremost, I am a gardener. It was very disappointing to design and install a beautiful perennial garden, only to find out it was eaten by rabbits. My clients were disappointed to watch time and money eaten over night.

 I recommend using wire fencing.  However, an entire garden fenced in chicken wire is not very attractive. I needed a plant protector that could be reused, easily put on and easily taken off. I worked for two years on a way to keep it simple.

There are many sprays that claim to provide a deterrence from rabbits.  These need to be used repeatedly to be effective.  I enjoy every part of gardening, I like weeding, I like planting, I get excited about creating new beds however, spraying coyote urine on my plants once a week is not something I look forward to.  Rabbits can not eat what they can not touch. 

 These plants protectors are garden friendly and will appeal to your creative nature. You can add flair by using up your excess craft supplies. ex: buttons, beads, paint etc.

I made them with out the use of chemicals and they are safe for my pets at the same time.
